ASK THE DAMN QUESTION! Speaking of NPR, to all you "journalists" hosting "talk shows," the next time some waterhead calls and moans about when we're going to have a "real conversation" examining how "our actions" led to the terrorist attacks, please, think back to that expensive journalism education daddy paid for and ask them whether they've been living under a rock since, oh, about NOON ON SEPT. 11! Personally, I cannot engage in my favorite pastime of swinging dead cats without smacking some hippie yahoo having a "real conversation" about just that! And believe me, there's no worse way to waste a dead cat!

THANKS FOR THE GUMBALL, MICKEY! The folks at that LA-blogger-friendly On the Media NPR show yakked with Slate problogger Mickey Kaus last weekend about the By-God New York Times and their little Iraq problem. If, like this man, you have the technology, you can listen here. If you're still accessing the net using stone knives and bear skins, you can read it here.
